Intern:

Tatum Group is looking for a problem-solving, highly-motivated intern to join our dynamic team.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the design of transportation roadway and civil engineering projects
• Working with GIS data (knowledge of the application of GIS and of GIS software packages, e.g. QGIS, is required)
• Working under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
• Performing engineering-related calculations and developing drawings and visual aids
• Technical writing and creating report documentation

Requirements:

• In depth familiarity and experience with standard office software, include spreadsheets and word processing
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail
• Good grades and an interest in civil/highway/structural engineering
• Understanding of, and experience in developing statistical models (Substantive Safety Analysis, Safety Performance Functions) is a plus
• VISSIM and Synchro knowledge is a plus

• Varying work hours depending on our work demand (may vary from 0h per week – 20h per week)

• Pay depends on qualifications

This internship will be arranged as a contractor agreement. Tatum Group does not provide any benefits. You must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
